Professional Deck Staining for Your Melbourne Home

Staining hardwood floors is an integral part of maintaining a functional yet stylish deck area. At Melbourne Painters Solutions, we’re proud to provide a professional staining timber floors service for residential properties throughout Melbourne. Quality stains and oils can bring out the highlights in the wood’s grain and colour, all while protecting it from unpredictable weather conditions. Whether you need the area sanded or stained, we can maintain the condition of your outdoor decking and ensure it looks its best for many years to come.

What is the Application Process?

At Melbourne Painters Solution, our specialised team take the utmost care when staining hardwood floors. We properly prepare the surface before coating the end of the boards and working the stain and oil into the rest of the wood with smooth strokes. We can stain two to three boards at once, optimising our time management. It’s best to stain the surface when it’s been prepared properly in order for it to dry evenly and consistently.

Why Should Oil Be Used to Stain a Timber Deck?

Water based oil is great to use when staining timber floors as it’s easy to apply and long-lasting. A deck stain is something that’s used to protect your outdoor living space from a broad range of different conditions, helping your decking to stand up to intense sun, rain, heat, ice, heavy foot traffic and even insects.
